Milwaukee Repertory Theater invites the Milwaukee community to engage in a conversation about identity by sharing writing, hearing local stories, and joining us for in-person dialogues at The Rep.
Many Faces One Humanity is a nonprofit organization which celebrates human diversity and creates a universal connection through photographic narratives. See some of Many Faces One Humanity’s powerful images in person at the Milwaukee Rep in the Quadracci Powerhouse lobby during the run of Disgraced!
In collaboration with our community partners, Many Faces One Humanity will serve as a catalyst for changes in the greater Milwaukee area, by facilitating dialogue, highlighting our abundant racial, religious and social diversity and by shaping future generations through our unique educational program which teaches students the art of photography as a means of self-expression.
Who we are & how we are perceived affects each and every one of us as we navigate our lives in the workplace, at home, and around our community.
In connection with our production of Disgraced, Milwaukee Rep invites you into the conversation to share local stories of navigating IDENTITY.
How does identity affect YOU?

Why should we #TalkIdentity?
"One of the central axis points of the American experience is rupture from the old world, and renewal of the self in the new one. For seven or eight generations, this notion is central to being American. We celebrate the renewal, we do not mourn the rupture. Disgraced is about the gap which is created by not mourning the rupture." - Ayad Akhtar, playwright of Disgraced
